Dye Seatbelts

My seatbelts are in abit of a state and was wondering if they can be removed completely to be dyed black?
Is it possible to remove them form the mechanism?

Just buy some black ones from a scrapper.

As Daniel San has said...scrappy...Clio, black belts...job done.

Much easier...imagine dyeing the belts, then in hot weather, the black stains your clothes, etc...not good!

Very much doubt the material would take any dye anyway.
