Earthing Wires (Clio 16v)

Following on from my topic yesterday...

Im still having earthing problems with the clio - previously, it was the earthing wire above the gearbox, on top of the mount...

my question is... is it possible to get an earthing strap, and attach it to the engine, and bypass this earthing wire on top of the gearbox...

as in, earth wire, from battery, to engine, as opposed to the mount?...

yes, you cna run several earthing leads to either the batt neg or a good chassis point.

Say one to the head/block/gearbox etc etc.
