Easy question for you excel Boffs

Im trying to add together time in excel... IE start time 1700 finish time 1800 so in a cell i want time taken which should say 1:00 hour/ Help please

it would be 18:00 - 17:00 in a cell, so say =a1-a2, then change the cell with the formula to display a time format. hope that helps

Worked it out... FYI ot was e2+(d2>e2)-d2

well i tried that what you said but it didn't like negative times or something (Did a google)... like if i typed that in and put 21:00 22:00 it would just display #####.
excel is gay imo lol

yeh you just have to swap the formula around so a2-a1, yes excel is gay, lol,
