eBay down

eBay, also paypal, has been down since about 9am this morning, the way most auctions end with snipes these days I'd hate to have any ending this morning.

Possibly DNS issues rather than eBay itself?

No clue, but I'm using Google's DNS and it's all working fine and dandy here.

I just switched to Google's DNS but still no access here. Was worth a try.

Just turned off wifi on the phone and it works on 3g

It is working,but not if your usual access is through motors.Google ebay uk,and get in through FASHION.The motors section is working once your in,well by switching to all cats anyway.I havent tried Motors by itself.

just spent an hour trying sign in, changing passwords, accounts not recognised, changing email address passwords. was on the verge of punching my laptop through until I just see this thread

some people are reporting it as down, whilst others are reporting they just cant log in. Its fine for me and im on Googles DNS of 8.8.8.8

Fine for me on the laptop but the app on my phone has signed out and refuses to sign in, browser on the phone works fine and logs in straight away!
