Pads are such a personal thing in my experience...
Personally I love the CL range, offers fantastic stopping power for a reasonable price and never had the pad fall to pieces like the old stories go. Unbelievable from cold also which was a great plus point! The only downside which didn't really bother me was dust that's hard to remove from the wheels and the squealing when your not hammering the brakes.
I also like the EBC Bluestuffs, give good stopping power again for the price and never seemed to fall away after log periods just the same as the CL's. Downside to these was they seemed to need a little warmth before they 'woke' up.
I'd like to try the PF pads one time to see if they're worth the extra money over the CL's, also try some Ferrodo DS2500 to see what the fuss is all about as everyone goes mad for them. My guesses is that their like the turini/2118 must have parts for a clio, even if they're average...
