ecotec or not

shall i buy a ecotec valve for my 1.2 16v, how well will they work with a exhaust and viper kit?

In short...no - dont buy one!

Erm...do a search as theres been a lot of "discussion" about the suppossed benefits of the ecotek. Certainly in my case i had one and found it did nothing so removed and sold it.

I have one on my 172. I noticed a difference. They can be a bstard to tune but once done you get better response at lower revs but you end up hoofing your car therefore dont really get gains in petrol consumption unless you drive like a poof
