Ectoek Valve

Been looking at the k-tec website and they have got ecotek valves on there. Are these things any good? Do they actually do what they say they do, or are they like other cheaper mods they claim to do alot but do very little?

Kazoo Noise, thats funny, out of all the reasons not 2 get one that is the main.

I got one and you can notice better fuel economy! Yes there is the kazoo noise but you learn to ignore it. If you want one get one! Havent seen increase in power though!?

With mine switched off I get 360 max out of a tank and on I get 390-400. This has been slipping of late due to engine seeming to be looser at 112k but still 30-40 miles more out of a tank I find is the norm for me. Had it now for 3 years so it works out to be quite a saving.

Performance may be worse with it on but RR'd at 148bhp with Magnex inc decat, chip and BMC CDA. Perhaps it would have been more with the exotek switched off, who knows....

In my opinion you'd be better off polishing your car really well to reduce the drag !! You'll get more benefit !!!
