Ecu and Decoder ring removal

Hi i have had a little look around the forum on how to remove the ecu and i can see there has been a few previous threads on this but i cant seem to find one that actually seems to describe it well! I have managed to get the top cover off and undone a 10mm from next to the suspension! I can't see where i go from there? Do i have to remove battery? Also how do i remove the decoder ring i haven't attempted this yet!

remove battery and arm that goes from ecu casing to slam panel

undo all metal bracket around ecu, and take the top of ecu case off, ecu should just slide out.

what is it you actually need to do ?
