Yesterday I disconnected my battery for a few hours to try and reset the ECU as my car had been cutting out a fair bit.
The car runs a lot better and hasn't cut out since - seems to have made a big difference.
Only problem now is that the toxic warning light illuminates constantly when I drive.:dapprove:
I had this problem a few months ago and changing the coil pack sorted everything out and the light eventually went off and hasnt come on since (until now).
Now im a bit confused as to why it has decided to come on again after resetting ECU - especially since the car is running very very well.
Is it ok to run car with light on?
I have my Mot tomorrow - does this mean it is likely to fail emmisions test?
Any help suggestions appreciated.
