Ecu swap

Is it as straight forward as swapping one out one in for an ecu from the same age of car with standard maps?

What about ignition keys? Do they still work?

no not a straight swap.
you need to find someone to recode the ecu for you or if you want to do it yourself you need to buy

ecu,barrel,uch,key

I thought when ktec did a ecu remap they offered to do it on an exchange basis where they send you an ecu and you send them yours?
