Hi, wat is the chip offered by Hillpower all about... is it the same as R-sport, superchips, unichips. Do I need to revert with my engine no. to purchase a chip? When is the best time to proceed with such a mod.... after I had my IK and exhaust fixed up or is there no diff at all? Thanks.

The Hill Power ECU is the exact same one as thr R-Sport ECU.
You can fit this to a standard engine and see small improvements, but they work very well with a filter, exhaust & de-cat and this setup is seeing 1/4 mile times of 14.0/14.1secs @ 98mph so very quick cars!
If you wanna go for stuff like headwork & cams in the future then this ECU wont really be able to make the best of those mods (will still work though) so a programmable system such as a Dastek would be a better choice.
