EGP Durability

Sorry if this has been asked a zillion times but how durable is EGP???

I applied a coat of SRP and then 2 coats of EGP to my car at the weekend. I was also planning on waxing (P21) but unfortunately I ran out of time. When washing the car next weekend is it ok to wash it, add a further coat of EGP and then wax or will I need to SRP it again?

Once waxed is it ok to wash and wax every time I clean the car or do I need to SRP, EGP and wax?

How often should I repeat the SRP ---> EGP ---> Wax process?

Hope this makes sense

Cheers
Alex

2 coats of EGP should be good for 2-3 months.

You can either rewash it and add another layer of EGP, or just use the P21s.

I tend to SRP and EGP twice a year. Maintain inbetween just washing and waxing.

I polished with SSR then put on SRP & EGP (Dr Rich's orders ;) )

That was 4 weeks ago;
I only got the chance to put one coat of EGP on, will I have to re-apply SRP before I use the EGP again?

I would just wack on another coat of EGP unless you have the time to re SRP which really won't do any harm either way.

Would I need to PC the car when I'm doing my bonnet?

(Just got my bonnet/bumper resprayed last week) Bodyshop gave the ok to polish/wax :)

If the car is in good shape, no need to re polsih the whole car unless you think it looks like it needs it.
