Eibach Pro’s For £99

Fast Car mag - demon tweeks 2 page advert says £99 inc vat, cheapest ive seen unless anyone knows any difference

yep, re-checked, also in max power, eibach pro springs £99 inc vat, just noticed k-tec have updated their website, now £130+vat, am sure they were £110+vat last week !!!

the add states specifically for rs172 at £99, bottom of page says all prices inc vat, thats def eibach pro as well, seen same add in 2 mags now.

Id be amazed, but its worth a phone call. Looking at getting some for our Megane, and theyre listed at £99 - mind you there are only 2 springs on a Megane, vs 4 on a Clio 172!

I can only apologise for buyin the magazine but it bwas in the name of research!

Nah, dont think I could do it myself (I would end up with a spring sticking out my leg and a car on top of my head or something.. but I will take before/after pics from the same angle to show how much of an initial drop you get (probably very suble 10mm drop initially droping to 20mm as it beds in)

I have just tried to order them, they say its a mistake, they can not sell them for that, Eibachs prices have gone up, will not honour the advert, dont have to sell at the advertised price, blah, blah, blah... you did well Daipac, I certainly wont be be buying from them.

Sadly they are not obliged to honour the advertised price, but most companies will do when pushed as a goodwill jesture, I guess Dai used up all their goodwill, seems Eibach prices have just gone up which is why K-Tec are at £152 plus delivery, however I found someone else on the new who would (with a bit of arm twisting) do them for £120 inc VAT delivered plus a set of EBC kevlar pads for £19.99, so Im pretty happy with that .

I didnt have to push them at all and I was in two minds as to get them or not until he said they would do them at £99 !

£120 is still a good price anyway with the pads too.

Ooooh looks like I ordered just in time... After reading the guide I am tempted to try fitting them myself.. looks pretty straightforward (it always does though eh ?) although I am trying to figure out where I can get a 2.5 feet steel pole from heh..

NEED HELP ! My springs arrived this morning and I think they have sent me the wrong ones ! Grrrrrrrrrrr ! It says 91 1.4 16v on the box which set the alarm bells ringing.

If you have a set of these springs, do you know the model number for them so I can check against the model number I have been given ?

I know mate, Demon Tweeks are on the ball ! Sh1t myself tho when I they came and they had 91 Clio 1.4 16v written on the label ! I phoned Demon Tweeks and they said they were the right ones. I phoned K-tec tho and they gave me a different part number and then I found out from Roamer and telford_mike that the springs I have has the same model number as the ones they have so that put my mind at rest.

All very confusing tho ! They will be on the car on Sunday so I will post some pics out when they have settled ! New wheels next if I can find an insurance company who will not batter me with the extra cost !

not looked at the box tho. mite just go check that! Hopefuly gettin em fitted this wkend too
