Eibach pros Finally Fitted :P

  Clio 182
Hi All,
I had my Eibach prolines fitted today and am very impressed! The car seems more planted on the road and doesnt roll as much through the corners. I have to say though I was not impressed at the people who fitted them, supposed professional garage using two trolly jacks no axle stands and didnt use any spring compressers to take off or put the springs back on :(

still the car is in one piece. I was advised by the people fitting it and national tyres to get it tracked in a couple of weeks.

Sorry for the long rant :(
Rich :)

Don't need compressor to do the 172 realy its not a bad idea but if you know what your doing there no need.

As for the jacks well personal preference its good practive after all its there life but no huge issue so long as the jack doesn't fail and wusing two you should be ok.

I will post pics tomorrow in the light, The ride is perfect It is slightly harder but nothing drastic. I did notice it going over sleeping policeman. I have not had a chance to really test them cos they have not bedded in yet. The car does seem to respond better when pushed harder.

would be interesting to see what other people thought after they had their eibachs fitted?

My car is a non cupped 182.

Rich:)

  172 Cup (track) FS
been very impressed so far with the pro-kit in conjunction with a whole bunch of other suspension changes.

doesn't alter ride height (on a 172 Cup), but makes things that bit more composed. No degradation in ride quality, the stiffer bushes work very well with these springs.

Thumbs up from me.

I will get some pics posted tomorrow. I still have a squeek from the drivers suspension when i go over a bump, The ppl that fitted the springs didnt notice anything out of the ordanary. I am tempted to get some powerflex buses in the near future? I still need to ge the tracking done, was prob gunna take it to national tyres as they seem to be pretty good. I gather there isnt any special setup required for the clio?

Forget the bushes there more harm than good.

Only the toe they can adjust the rest needs to be cnaged to be adjsuted ie Camber so so long as its near stock its fine.
