Electric folding mirrors?

  ex Clio 172 owner :(
I notice on the options for the new 197 you can get electric folding mirrors for £100.

Is there any sort of kit to convert 172 mirrors to electric folding that anyone knows of?

I would find this very useful.

Cheers.

Useful? Pointless really...must just add weight... but i had them on my Mini and it was a neat trick to show off to my mates ;)

Which if you're honest you'll admit is why most men want most of the features on their new cars, and do most of the modificatioons to their cars. Not because they do anything useful, but so they can show them off to their mates who haven't got them.

i find them useful on the Megane, saves having to fold each one manually when parking up somewhere some numpty might decide to take your mirror off.

They sound like a pretty good idea to me. Might be worth looking into I think.

the pug 307 has this feature on its car , cant see why you cant adapt the principle , or usage of the motor on the clio ???

I always tuck my mirrors in when I park.

Also, when getting onto and off drive at home, there isn't a lot of room for my car and my lasses.

She's forever getting into my car and forgetting to put the mirror back. Thinks I'm being a pain but better safe than sorry.

So no one know of a kit that you can adapt to fit a Clio then?
