Electric Polisher Recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a good electric polisher?

Ideally one that is not an attachment for a drill. Not too bothered on cost, I'm a great believer in you get what you pay for.

What do we all use then?

Cheers Arran. Was looking at that one right enough.....looking at trying out some proper kit this year, especially on the Clio it really could do with it.

That's actually not a bad idea haha!

Practice on a scrap panel is a great way. Used 2 bonnets to practice on that i got for £15 each, saves any potential mishaps while learning.

Apparently the AF kit isn't upto much, I ordered Hex Logic pads and Menz polishes after recommendations off guys on here... Yet to use it though.

You could just buy pads and borrow mine?

But you live in Aberdeen half the time! That older, cheaper one is coming back in stock soon though. What one is it you've got and would it be a hassle?

I have a meguiars g220 it sits in the cupboard all the time bar the few times I use it, I am home each weekend mate so if you wanted it for the week it wouldn't be an issue. Just a thought save you buying one John

no worries dude makes more sense than buying one tbh. its a great piece of kit I got a bargin on it 2nd hand. I use the chemical guys pads, I need to get a small backing plate for it that's the only thing missing
