Electric sunroof motor???? HELP!

Well i bought my car with the sunroof pre-sealed albeit very poorly, the chap who had it before me did it with bathroom sealent that was abviosuly pretty crap as it isnt hard at all more like sponge with gaps, and recently my car has started taking on vast amounts of water, sahowering me in the process, as its been a nice weekend i decided along with my dad to rip out all the old sealent and try and have a look for ourselves what was wrong before possibly sealing it back up again properly. the chap before me disconnected the sunrrof however so that the sealent would stay in place, and now i have no idea how to re connect it.

The only undone connection i can see is a black wire. Theres one going into the box on the back of the sunroof switch - just like the other coloured wires that go in, but there is also another black wire that comes out of the box that has a connection on one end with no place to go.

Can anyone tell me where it is meant to connect back upto?

sorry for the vague description - if anyone wants a cleaer picture ill try and go into more detail.

Cheers
Tom

are all the wires still plugged into the black connector block on the interior light/ central locking sensor/ electric switch???

IIRC there is only 2 wire going directly into the motor itself, i did have my old one in my garage, i'll see if i can find it.

All the wires are plugged into the black connector block but there is just one black wire coming out of that block with seemingly nowhere to go

I thought it might be an earth as it has that sort of connection on it (a circle with a hole in the middle to attach behind a screw - a bit like a washer) but when touched against metal theres still nothing.
