electric window help

well it seems the mrs passenger window on her mk2 wont go down on either swich from the duel on the drivers side to the single one on passenger door, im guessing its possibly the window regulator, but i cant hear any clicking from the relay when you depress the the buttons. is this normal??? and can anyone help.

I had the same issue, someone put a piece of wood in to wedge the window up. Hopefully yours maybe a loose connector or a goosed regulator.

They're only £30 max to replace, you'll just need to take the door card off to see what the problem is.

sounds like the window regulator has given up quite a common problem changed a few recently.

yea thats what i thought, il check on it next week, as mrs has week off an thats the only time il get too look at it. is there anyway to test for sure its the regulator when the cards off?

can test it with a multimeter to see if there is voltage once the switch is operated.
