Electrical help!

Got in my car tonight to find the a burning smell, heater not working, mirrors, interior light, radio and clock display... all not working.

Changed mirror fuse as that was blow interior light flicked on then fuse blew out again,so tried another, exactly the same!

Any Ideas?

Take the interior light out and make sure water isnt getting in. Clean up corrosion on connectors and try another fuse.

ahh right, that will have to wait until the morning though... i have no light! lol

Have you got any stains or damp water marks on your headlining aroud that area?

whatever you do DON'T put a larger fuse in it.

i'd check the fan tbh as it might of seized which would give the burning smell and operating fuses

nope wasnt gonna put any fuse in yet until i can find problem, Havent checked the fan, but will be doing all this in the morning.

Didnt notice any water stains, is this a common problem with the clio then?

the mk1 roof was like a sieve

A lot of clios have problems with sunroofs leaking.
