Electrical Problems!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. My interior back lighting on the dash clocks, climate etc randomly stoped coming on when I switched the head lights on last week. Also noticed that the rear lights on the car aren't working (reverse, indicators and fogs are though). I think it's water in the electricals because when it was raining a few nights ago I could hear a buzzing noise and the lighting started to work intermitently although hasn't since. Anybody had the same problem or have any ideas as to where water could be getting in or am I barking up the wrong tree with the water idea?

ps sometime the main connection block gets piss wet through if the washer bottle is leaking
