Ever get a chance to go to Elvington (big feck off 2mile runway near York) for some drag action, DO IT! Just been and apart from some of the best cars on the planet being in attendance, some of the best times I have seen in a long while were recorded.
From Honda NSX (couldnt believe it when it pulled in) to a few Skylines (R34s and R32s and a GTS T or two) to your Scooby brigade (including a 13.21 qtr from a standard import WRX) the day was superb, and all for £6! (£30 to race)
Next time its on I think all should pop over, one of the lads got 27 runs in, now thats value for money.
When I left I think the highest top speed of the day so far was about 169mph!
Only saw one Clio there all day, valver with standard fronts and 17s on the back, nice to see someone held the Clio end up.
Superb place! Got to go again!
