emission light after fitting janspeed cat

as above just fitted a janspeed sports cat and the emission light is on all the time even after erasing the code anyone else had this problem? i know it happens with a decat but would of thought the cat would of done enough to drop O2 level or whatever its reading.
any help much apreicated

yeah it looks ok. i.e there is a clip on the plug that is engaged
