emissions light came back on

I have a custom de-cat, and have turned the emsissions light out now twice, coming back from scotland on sat it came on again! only really does it on long journeys lol any know how i can stop it from coming back on??

The de-cat has got both lamba sensors in it too

never put the second sensor in. put a bolt in the blank

basically the way it works is.. first sensor reads the fueling and adjusts it.

second checks how well the cat is working.. if its tied under the car it reads fresh air "the cat is working well then".. if its pluged into the cat then it reads the c02 at a high reading thinks the cat has failed and nocks up the light to warn you

I take it if my 2nd sensor is squashed then the light will show no matter what ?

Although i have got used to it now. lol

Full of knowlege ben! so what should i do with the second sensor? just unplug it or tie it out of the way?

how is it squashed? when straping the 2nd sensor under the car it must be plugged in, or it will throw the light as it cant read the emissions

normally you can ziptie it to the subframe support plates, Triangle ones, have 3 16mm bolts on them

cool i'll do that nxt time then! so the second sensor (near the back of the car) need to be unscrewed and tie wrapped on somewhere

Ive no idea mate but its pretty flat lol Something has obviously damaged it which is why i thought my emissions light came back on after reset with only a sportscat..... it was damaged after the light came on.

hhmm. if the sensor is not working it could be that which has kept the light on dude.. not 100% maybe try and get one froma brakers for a few a quid
