Emmisions + Service light?

Hey guys,

So i was driving into work this afternoon, stopped at a roundabout, and as i'v pulled away my service lights come on with a message saying 'Check Emmisions', car still pulls fine etc but was a bit perplexed as i only bought the car on saturday and its only done 16000 miles...

Booked it into the dealership where i bought the car as its within the years warranty obviously but thought i would post on here to see if anyone has a solution?

I guess the solution is what you already did.. Get it checked via the clip or another obd device.
