End of the TT

Ive decided to pull the lump out of the TT and stick it into a v-dub / seat. The car has become dangerous due to the stupid power its pushing out and the way the drive train is set up. Ive had a few near control losses at high speed and im worried im gonna write it off with me inside it. Basically the torque steer on acceleration is forcing the car to pull to the left quite violently due to the way the driveshafts are set up. Torque steer is caused by unequal driveshafts on high powered FWD cars and my shafts are different sizes and both coming out on different angles - i cant sort the problem out as there is no space to do so and ive cut and chopped away at the chassis legs so much its becoming unstable. I could inject a lot of cash into the structure but its not worth it - its easier sticking it into a v-dub as it was designed to go in one in the 1st place. My rolling shell is for sale for £1000 - Clio 172 brakes / FK adj coilovers / 172 cup dash + lots more

Glad i got to see it for the first and only time (as a clio at least) sunday.

Sensible chioce to be fair m8...When I drove it with just 290 bhp it was very twitchy admittedly pre coilovers but when I drove Jordy`s it was soooo stable...shame you sold you Scirocco m8!

Jordies car is arrow straight as the TT lump is designed around the old 1.8 GTi engine so it fits like a glove. Its so much more controllable and driveable than mine although not as fast ( unless he uses nitrous ) but im fitting a 100 hp NOS kit which will take it over 500hp so i want it to be safe and steady for the kind of speeds its going to be doing.

Still gonna run it till the end of summer but at the moment im wondering what to put it in - any ideas ?? ( vw / audi / seat ) im thinking of an early seat Ibiza 96 reg ??

was thinking when i saw u at the track that the chassis/ drivetrain from an s3/early tt would have maybe been stronger, would also have given u 4wd with which to get that power down. would that have worked in a clio shell?
