I have a 1.2rl mk1 phase three clio. I stripped the dash and all the connectors for bodywork to be done. I've gone to rewire everything today to start the car, and the renault standard engine cut out keeps switching the engine off, and the key recognition switch keeps flashing on the dash dials.
I've tried to disconnect the battery and reset it, but that did nothing. I've tried disconnecting the key recognition switch on the connector thats in the centre console, but the light isn't even working, on the switch that normally flashes red, while it reads the key.
can anyone help here. The full ignition every connector behind the dash was disconnected, so do i need to contact renault to reset the alarm or.....???
