Engine and stop lights on, 172

Fitted the new engine at the weekend and not really revved it, it's running sweet (at the mo) was just driving home took it to 5k and the stop light, engine light and temp light all came on. So I slowed down and they went out! Didn't come back on until I was at home and took it to 5k again..

Any ideas what it could be

It's been doin it at any time in the rev range tonight, making the car judder

Could it be a faulty temp sensor

dodgy earth?

Check gearbox earth and the one near the headlight!

Someone mentioned a the tps ?

Ok so just checked the brake fluid after reading similar posts and it's low! Would this cause random light flickering
