engine bay polishing

what is the best way of polishing up the part to the left of my engine cover, it looks really out of place in my clean - ish engine bay?

You can try and clean it up with some metal polish and wire brush.

Cast bits like that are a pain to get looking good/factory again without getting them blasted.

The other option is to get it polished like they do on here with the inlets and fuel rail covers.
