no, not a strut brace.
a brace that stops the engine from moving around on its moutings. The movement of the engine whilst gunning seems to be responsible for the exhaust becoming loose time after time.
The mountings have been replaced in december so should not be an issue (but then it was main dealer work, so you never know). I'm about to spend a wedge on an exhaust upgrade and want the thing to stay on. From previous experience with other cars, an ENGINE brace is the solution. An adjustable bracket fitted between engine and chasis that minimises movement.
Does anyone know if one s available for the 182?
