Engine changes

Done a lot of clio engine changes in my time but I've never Dropped one out always lifted them out.
Apart from today had to remove a engine and fit it to another car. Decided for some reason to drop it out.

They both came out perfectly easy in about 45 minuets each quicker then when i lift them.
But when fitting it to the new car dropping the body on top of the subframe and engine setup.
Then lifted the engine though the bay bolted the engine on its mounts(took ages to line up)

And now i'm finding it well hard lining the sub frame up :(

What method do people find best to remove clio engines.

drop the subframe out with the engine and box. then when putting it back get the engine and gearbox mounts on ( so the body is holding the weight of the engine ) then the subframe can be moved easier. If that makes sense?

i never drop them out the bottom, its a pain in the arse! easy to get out, tw*t to put back in!

I find them a t**t to put back in with an engine lift. Have to get the engine at a stupid angle then you've still got the crank pulley and the box hitting the chassis legs! Nahh!

Engines on the mounts. Its just how bulky the subframe is with the wish bones and hubs and s**t still on it thats making it hard.

Ahh thats where u goIn wrong, leave the hub on with the strut. Bottom ball joint off FTW.

Undo the two 16mm's on the bottom ball joint so ur only removing the wishbone with the subframe. Leave the hub bolted to the strut. Capische??
