wat good to use to get an engine bay shineing again? its all a bit weathered/corroded like if u get what i mean. dull metally. wat good to get it lookin like new again? or near on?
cheers dudes
(oh and i dont want to be spending millions, i'm not that anal about cleaning)
I just wash the insides of the bay - paintwork, engine cover etc as I would wash the car normally. Then a quick blast with a jet wash. Always being careful not catch any electrics. I do this once a week so the engine doesn't have chance to get dirty.
TFR is meant to be good stuff. My bro's mates get it from work. Like rocking horse shat though and meant to really expensive.
I use gunk which is quite good.
TFR is a stronger vesrion of Autoglym Engine and machine cleaner.
Us as little water as you need to remove the TFR, Low pressure from a hose pipe should be fine, anything that looks a bit suspect cover with a plastc bag.
