cheers, just for reference for tomorrow, i need a new alternator belt and a new power steering belt, 2 days before i do a 400 mile journey and ive noticed they are both at breaking point. they did have 5 notches but both are stripped down to one.

yep , 1 tensioner to loosen, and 2 adjustment bolts on the alternator and they both drop off. Just moved it down the street and you forget how good power steering is and a working alternator lol! Hopefully the motor factors will have the belts in so i can fit they tomorrow night as im off to kent at half 5 in the morning on friday in it. good job i noticed them before we went.
