how much would it cost roughly to have an engine conversion done professionally? bit hard to find 2.0's that are a 1.2 on the log book but if anybody knows about them then a point in the right direction wouldnt be bad

A Ph1 172 can be had for £1000-£1500 .. last time I checked K-TEC for instance, I think the conversion was about £6-7,000.

R.e.: The log book - If you're considering doing this to commit insurance fraud, it will take you years to make it worthwhile.
