Engine coolant

I need to top up my coolant level but dont want to invalidate my warranty by using an unapproved product. Can anybody recommend a brand they know to be ok in a 2003 Cup ?

My local dealer is pants so Id rather avoid the aggro of asking them. Ideally I just want to pick up a bottle of something at Halfords and be done with it.

you might be surprised that your dealer may top it up for you for free

Dont worry any replacment should be ok.

For a dealership to refuse warently work they have to prove the mod was to blmae I cannot see wht Halford etc would sell any coolent product which can do any hard to an engine though.

Dont think even Renault have an official stuff they just use any stuff (almost).

should a coolant need topping up - check for a leak mate

oh, and the garage would never tell in a million years what youve used - unless they did an ssg check - but they prob wouldnt know what that was anyway!

not all coolant is the same and there is 2 types that are not to be mixed so id ring Renault to see what type it is they use
