Engine cover paint strip

Does anyone know wht would ve best to use to get the paint of the engine cover? Ive jus got one from on here and its sprayed black but flaking so i want to take the paint off. Would paint stripper or turps ve good to use? I reli dont know what would be best

I used nitro mors in the spray tin leave for 10 minutes. Worked fine

You get it in most diy shops mate
