Engine Cover!!!!

This is probably a silly question but do all Clio 172s and 172 cups come with an engine cover as i just bought my new cup and it does not have one!!!!!

If it is meant to have one please could someone show me some pics of exactly how my engine bay is suppose to look like.

I didnt think any did as standard, hasnt it got the injection system perched on top of the engine?

Saw a nice green one at BB tuning on Sunday.

u dont want one, there bleedin stupid - the oil cap cover breaks off, Ive chucked mine to the back of the garage

So is it worth me calling the dealer to get one of him as i should get it for free with it being a new car??

Sorry m8 misunderstood you there, thought you got a cup and didnt get one. Not all cups didnt get one

The Cup does not come with the engine cover as standard. Some people have fitted one aftermarket but as standard from the dealer they do not come with the cover.

Thats good then, i suppose i just wanted another reason to have ago at the dealer as when i went to pick the car up with only 11 miles on it it had scratches all over the passenger side wing and on to the door so it needs to go back already!!!!!!! So as you can imagine im already pi55ed with them!

You did get the splitter though right ? cause thats whats normally missing on the cups .. lol

Yep that was missing i told them to make sure that was on when i went to pick it up!! He made up some rubbish that it was just in the boot, then the next day he was like yeah i ordered one for you they just lie all the time!!!

If splitters on them are anything like Escort Cossie ones then the dealers prob selling them on eBay.

Escort Cossie one from Fords cost £375, the dealer said they get nicked more than wheels as easier to remove and sell on.
