Engine Light Help Please

Just had the Clio serviced, just oil, filter and spark plugs, and have got this light on constant.

Any idea what could of caused it?

when mine came on it was the knock sensor which is just next to the oil filter, make sure the mechanic didnt brutalise the sensor, its on the front of the block with a big hex head on it, 22mm from memory

Ahh nor! a bit of oil spilled down there when he took the filter off, could this have caused it?

possibly is he saturated the sensor. That is also the light that comes up for lambda sensor issues. Have a quick look at the knock sensor if not get it to renault or someone with diag equipment

Thanks mate, pretty sure he never knocked anything, so could just be flooded with the oil that came out of the old filter?

possibly, but the sensor is very close the oil filter. Just pop the fuel rail cover off (2X 10mm nuts (you will need a deep reach socket)) and you should be able to see

Just checked there, and it seems completely in tact?
