 on the way to work the car was mis-firing really badley, i can hear the exhaust coughing and splatting so im guessing i need the leads changed, how much are they and can i fit them myself? is it better to go for standard ones or upgraded ones?

Has

  RS 182 - Black Gold
The leads on the 1.2 16v are connected to the coilpack.

So you cannot get aftermarket/Uprated sets.

Origional part from Renault is approx £58

It MAY not be the problem tho - there are a number of things it could be from sensors to the throttle body.

If the engine management light is on - a fault has been logged and needs to be read, this will give an idea as to what is causing the failure.
