engine management light flashing.

hi guys, after just buying a clio 172 cup 2day, i am starting to expierence problems already, the engine management light is flashing and the engine seems like its not running properly an also back firing, it doesnt rev up properly, bit lumpy, please help, thanks

Pre cat O2 sensor, probably.

Did they clean the engine bay before you bought it?

Could be, but they aren't cheap.

If you're handy with a spanner the O2 sensors are easy enough to change.

yeh it does look quite clean, whys that, an im not too handy with a spanner.

Get it plugged in. Sounds like a misfire to me. Possibly due to steam cleaning the engine bay and water getting into the ignition system.

it was the coil pack, all sorted now, thanks
