Engine Management light..

the past few months my engine management light has been flashing every now and again, but it usually stops after a few minutes, but this morning it came on and stayed. Then coming home from work I was on the dual carrigeway, everything was fine untill I put it into 5th gear then it misfired a few times.
when it comes to this kind of stuff of a car I'm hopeless! so any help would be appreciated.

just a guess but try tdc sensor 22 pound from gsf common fault if i remmember rightly hope this helps

Id get the car plugged into the renault computer see what the fault realy is.

the misfiring has stopped which is good, won't be able to get the car booked in till Friday though, so I'll see how that goes.
