S .Stevo.C. Car 225 Cup & Williams Dec 11, 2012 #2 Sounds like a belt squeeling or a pulley. Are the belts due?
paddyyyyy Car Monaco 172 Dec 11, 2012 #3 Cam belt was done in 2009 I have no idea about the aux belt though!

F fraz101 Car clio 172 phs 1 Dec 11, 2012 #6 I'd whip the Acc belt off (pain in the arse i know) but thats what i'd be going to first. Does it get faster as engine speed increases?

F fraz101 Car clio 172 phs 1 Dec 11, 2012 #9 I don't think it's the actual belt thats causing the noise,more likely a pulley,alternator,tensioner.....take the belt offf and inspect each pulley.
