engine paint?

Hi, i am just about to build a new engine for my RSi, and wanted to know whats the best engine paint to use?

I have painted my mk1 golf gti engine using hamerite, but the finish wasnt brilliant. I am after the kind of quality finish as seen in the pics of this 16v engine.

Any info would be of great help.

Powder coat,is that what has been used on this GDi engine?

I am after something that i can do at home thou, any more ideas?

plasticoat paint.

the prep is essentioal, acid etch primer and its sticks perfectly and does not come off with moderate heat
