This is purely a thought at this point in time, but it crossed my mind while reading some threads.
The standard 1.2 (older stlye) clio can have the 182 lump dumped in it and all the necessities, and from what i read a 182 can fit a 197 engine but without the gear box (I think) fitting.
Does that mean the 197 lump would fit in a 1.2 without the gearbox also?
And now my question:
If so, I am assuming the new clio 1.2 with the turbo (100bhp i think? Dynamique) is a smaller engine than the 197.
Would the new clio 1.2 turbo lump fit into an older style 1.2 with all parts necessary?
Crossed my mind as i don't really fancy a 1*2, too much power for my liking.
