Engine swap

Right i have had some trouble with head bolts so looking to swap the rngine for a good kne with cambelt done, what engine will fit my ph1 172 ? Would a ph2 172 engine fit and what else would i need ?

phs 1 or phs 2 172, 182 is a bit of hassle

Yes it will, but a ph1 has a better head on it. What is your trouble with head bolts though?

Pm me a number mate and ill send u a picture , basicly did 6 of the head bolts fine, cum to middle 4 and they have rounded , so we have tried them sockets that dig in and grip and it snapped the head off, so we tried to drill out the bolts and not alot happend lol
