Engine swap

Some of you might have seen my other thread bout me popping my engine just wondering I've got a complete 182 back ends in bit but everything else like brand new can I put the 182 engine in my 172?

Yep, pretty much the same engines.

Sorted the 182 has cruise controll and traction controll but my 172 hasn't

Cruise and TC is down to the ECU and certain switches and sensors, not the engine.
