Engine ticking badly :(

I think i have a similar problem, the noise isn't as loud and it only happens every other day.
Its most noticable inside the car, could it be also related to dephaser issues???

Mines suddenly started as above, a noticeable tapping sound. Much more noticeable when sitting in the drivers seat....I got out and checked under the bonnet and could barely hear it, if anything...:/

Boys if you've got these sort of problems stop driving them around and get them looked at, it could save you a fair wedge further down the line.

It has gone in for a full service etc, i recommend doing so as the garage said it could be something serious!!

Wowo sounds like a transit i've seen another post regarding the dephaser pulley and it was similar to the noise in your video, there was a before and after vid IIRC

Mine sounded like that when I first bought it. Till cyl #3 blew a super4 out. Check plugs first
