Engine trouble

Ive noticed today that Ive got a bit of a lumpy idle and that when I drive the car it sounds like the exhuast is makiing bubbling, blurbing noises (hard to describe) and the car has lost power. Could this be a problem with the spark plugs??

Also as my rocker cover still p!sses out oil I was wondering roughly how much a new rocker cover will cost with a new gasket for it??

Its a 1996 Renault Clio with the 1149cc D7f engine in if thats any help. Also how much does it usually cost to replace a rocker cover, rocker cover gasket??

gaskets about a fiver matey, for some reason they decided at the factory not to fit most of them properly so they leak from new. New gasket ont here and your laughing, easy job as well.

As for the running problems it could be a million things, if the plugs have a gap that you can fit a digestive in they won't be helping.

Well i got it back from service and mot today and im pretty certain some noob hasnt done them properly lol. idle speed control valve was replaced some time ago unless its the exhuast, which i doubt

Yea was running fine before. its got plenty of petrol in it. Cars on 85k, Cambelt changed around 62k. They put the cat on and took it back off again once it passed the Mot, reaplced o.s c.v boot, engine oil flush, new oil filter, 4 litres of oil, 4 new spark plugs and 2 wiper blades they topped up washer bottle, check coolent and brake fluid levels, checked belt tensions, cleaned up the brakes, checked lights, tyres etc without going into too much depth. They didn't replace my air filter as I got a K&N panel filter in it and i told them not to replace it.

it says on the list BCP5ES sparkplugs on the list, whatever that is. its too dark now to go out and check but they are probably NGK plus of some sort. I maybe wrong tho

if they are bcp's then they are ngk's so thats nto a problem unless they were damaged or liek you say not tightened but you'd hear that.
