Hi, I am thinking about either superchargeing or puttin throttle bodies on me 172, i was just wondering if any knew the maximum power you can put through the standard engine internals before you have to start replaceing pistons, conrods etc??? Throttle bodies would take it to about 200hp with an uprated ecu aswell, Not really sure on power figures with supercharging, have been lookin at rotrex superchargers as think they will be best suited as not too big to fit in the engine bay, at a guess would think the supercharger would take it to roughly 230hp, again with an uprated ecu. Any advice on suitable throttle bodies or superchargers and where best to get them from would be muchly appreciated aswell.

As said use the search option, there is tons of information on this, you can get upto 270 supercharging it, and that's on standard internals, paul at rs tuning in Leeds is your best bet.
