Engine warning light when accelerating hard

1.5 DCI, when my right foot is to the floor the engine warning light comes on. It goes off again as soon as I stop accelerating hard. No loss of power, no other symptoms.

Any ideas?

Can anyone recommend a DIY code reader?

Fuel pressure problem. It's not reaching the pressure demand.

Either an injector failing or the high pressure fuel pump is breaking up.

Mega bucks im afraid.
