I've just brought a clio with an epas conversion using a dci rack.
I don't know if it's because I've never driven a clio with epas but it just doesn't seem right.
Its much easier to turn right than left (feels like more assistance when turning left) on the higher settings and only really feels okay if I basically turn it off but then it's far to heavy for driving on the road.
Could the motor be faulty? Can feel a slight notch when driving hard .. Which can be replicated when dry steering stationary and also makes a slight knocking noise when turning left and right when stationary.
Anyone had similar issues? Temped to revert the car back to hpas as the steering atm doesn't give a great deal of confidence
